F. David Peat

David Peat obtained his PhD at Liverpool University and carried out research in theoretical physics at Queens University, Kingston and the National Research Council of Canada. He also began a long collaboration with the physicist, David Bohm.

After leaving the National Research Council Peat turned to writing books and is the author of over twenty. He organized dialogue circles between Native American Elders and Western Scientists and between artists and scientists. In 1996 he moved to the medieval village of Pari where he opened the Pari Center for New Learning.

Peat is a Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science and a member of the Advisory Board of Albert Schweitzer College.
